When?	-Morning of September 11, 2001
Who?	-Members of the al-Qaeda militant Islamist terrorist network -Mastermind behind attack was Osama Bin Laden, former Saudi Arabian national, Head of the al-Qaeda network
Why?	-bin Laden offered to help US force Iraq to leave its neighbor and Washing turned him down
Results/Effects?	-Death toll: 3,000 -Security systems are now more thorough because of the attack
